I started cooking at a young age in Belgium, a country small in size, but with an enormous culinary tradition and passion for food and the birth place of quite a few chefs. The exposure to the many cultures in the US created an interest in “fusion” style cooking, a blend of European cuisines (such as Belgian, French, Italian) and ethnic (like Morrocan, Indian, Carribean, Asian), all with a California twist. I worked in the restaurant business, had a catering company 'Poetic Cuisine' and then started working as a personal chef.
